The Secrets of Pirate Radio!

One could theoretically do this on any social media but I’m doing it on bluesky because i killed myself on twitter and linkedin is boring. This is best done with youtube or spotify premium. The way it works is this. You pick a song and leave a link to it in a reply to someone’s post. Then enjoy for about a minute, until you realize you gotta find a new song. So you cue up another link, refresh your feed, and leave another reply.

Sometimes the magic strikes and you leave a witty comment that matches the song. Sometimes the song title is the end of the sentence you leave. Other times you’ll find yourself going “good enough” or leaving a comment totally unrelated to the song. It’s incredibly mentally stimulating and after doing it for about 2 or three hours a day for weeks, I can honestly say it’s doing something to my brain where I feel much sharper and in flow state… another fun thing to post is “do drugs post music” because i did it on mushrooms once but typically i’ll just have a spliff or chain smoke them all day…

the funny thing is, killing myself on twitter gave me the idea. What i did right, was start at post 9170 because i was gonna delete my account after post 9,200. Obviously it had to be over 9,000 but by enough that it warranted that kind of reaction. Admittedly i thought Martin Luther nailed up 92 treatises, not 95. So i called the thing my 9,200 tweetises. This is about how it ended. I took a song off the billboard top 100 for each year starting at 1970. However, Instead of deleting my account after 9,200, i kept it going. I had told everyone my last post would be the word “bang” because of my feud with ajr. i get up to year 2015, *bang*. Finished off to 2024 on bluesky… In your fucking face Elon! YOU MADE ME MORE GHOST THAN EVER. Before this I was just posting my videos and was getting muted left and right… Now people can ask why I’m a ghost and those in the know can say “He killed himself during 2015” and people go “really… he couldn’t do that” and those in the know can reply “well he did on twitter at least… posted a song from 2015 as he was going through all the years and just deleted his account. Ghosted completely. Doesn’t even post on his alt. he’s on bluesky though”

“when he did it on youtube… yes… but that was 2020… otherwise, 3 days earlier… but that was real life not the internet.”

“but when did he come back on bluesky?”

“he was already there but the song thing happened in december of 2024”

“3 days before or after the thing on twitter?”

“no immediately… I think he thought people might get sad? People don’t know about him”
