Time Is Standing Yet We All
Dear you, reading this,
Holy Smokes it's been a long time since I've posted a blog update. So I've started getting gigs. That's pretty sweet. If you ever find yourself in Bar Harbor Maine, do yourself a favor and go to the Lompoc cafe. The food is delicious and they often have live music at night. The patio area has is the perfect place to relax at night. Also the New mixtape is out! the continous mix is password protected but I'm sure cool people can find it.
With that out of the way I'd like to talk about what it means to care. specifically this:
This hearkens back to my rant about attaching importance to something. Now how do we measure importance? Time spent? Mental devotion? Seriously, if we're all measuring importance on different scales, than two people could both end up thinking they care more about something than each other. That gets confusing, especially if there are multiple end goals in various minds.
I don't think we choose to mask our motivations. They get lost in communication. We try to show others what we care about and they only filter in what they recognize. I might be repeating myself here, but this is why it's so important to try and understand how others think. Better communication starts at understanding your audience. What you recognize as caring may not be enough for someone. It may take some more understanding to learn how show all types of things like affection, trust, and intamacy.
as always, thank you for reading,
